A unit of Kendriya Vidyalaya
Sangathan, K. V. Utarlai was
introduced in the vicinity of desert city BARMER in July 1982 to serving the
needs of society, specially defence, since its
inception. Due to its unique contribution in the
field of education the vidyalaya was given the
status of ‘Model
School’ by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in the year 1999.
It shifted to present big building and since then
it is running successfully from class 1st to 12th
producing effective results. |

At present, Vidyalaya is a three-section school up to class X, and two section each for classes
XI & XII (Science stream only) with the good
strength. The vidyalaya has been excelling in the
fields of academics and co-curricular activities.
The Board results have shown a steady improvement
over the years in this regard.
Sprawling in an area of 13 acres Vidyalaya
building has developed on modern lines of
architecture suggesting the multi-dimensional
approach of the Vidyalaya. Well-lighted,
ventilated and spacious classroom provide a
perfect platform of learning for the children. |

| We are a co-educational school affiliated to Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi catering to the needs of education. Our intent is
an all-round development of child, developing in
him/her a wide range of wholesome interests
providing learning through co-operative work. We
aim it advancing the mental, aesthetic, physical
and moral development of the pupils and enabling
them adopt dynamic approach. Thus helping them to
become responsible citizens and strengthen the
national integrity. |
